A sales deck is competitive material. This is what happens to yours.
What happens when you upload
1. Transport and storage
Content is encrypted in transit. Your account identity and your content are held separately, and payment card data never touches our systems at all. Billing runs through a payment processor.
2. Processing
Your deck and prospect inputs are processed by AI model providers acting as our subprocessors, only to generate your output. The output comes back to you and only you.
3. Retention
Raw uploads live only as long as needed to deliver your output, then are deleted or de-identified. Your generated library persists with your account. Backups cycle on a rolling basis.
4. Product improvement
DeckShift may use content to improve the product only as the privacy policy describes. You can opt out in account settings.
The binding versions of these commitments live in the privacy policy and terms of service. A current subprocessor list is available by writing to privacy@deckshift.app while the public list is finalized.
Buyer questions
Is my deck used to train AI models?
We never sell your decks or give them to anyone to train AI models. We may use your content to improve DeckShift only as our privacy policy describes, and you can opt out in account settings.
Who owns the shifted deck?
You do. The terms keep your deck yours and assign the output to you, with Hekaton holding only the license needed to run the service. AI-generated material can sit in odd corners of IP law, and the terms address that directly.
Who can see my uploaded deck?
You, and the AI model providers that produce your output. Your identity is separated from content before anything enters the analytics environment. DeckShift staff access is limited to operating and troubleshooting the service.
How long is my deck stored?
Raw uploads are retained only as long as needed to deliver your generated output and for a limited period after, then deleted or reduced to de-identified form. Your generated decks stay in your library for as long as your account is active.
Can I get my data deleted?
Yes. Delete your account at any time, or contact privacy@deckshift.app for a deletion request. De-identified aggregate data that no longer identifies you may be retained.
