iPhone app

The ten minutes before the meeting? More than enough.

Decks rarely start at a desk. Share a prospect's website to DeckShift from any app, pick the seed deck your team already perfected, and the shift runs while you walk in. The finished deck is on your phone, ready to send.

What you can do from your phone

  • Start a Quick Shift with the same fields as the web: a briefing, the prospect's website, an offering, and the deck to start from.
  • Share a web page, a link or a piece of text into DeckShift from Safari, Mail, Messages or any app with a share sheet, and the prospect's address fills itself in.
  • Pick a seed deck from your library, or import a PowerPoint file from your phone.
  • Choose "No questions, just go" or "Ask me questions", and answer any question right on the phone.
  • Get a notification when the deck is ready, or when a question is waiting for you.
  • Flip through the finished deck one slide to a screen, then email it, share a link, or open it on your laptop.

Getting started

  1. 1Install DeckShift from the App Store once the listing is live.
  2. 2Sign in with the account you use on the web. Sign in with Apple works too.
  3. 3Allow notifications if you want to hear when a deck is ready.
  4. 4Create a Quick Shift, or share a prospect's website into the app.

iPhone app questions

When can I download it?

The iPhone app is in App Store review now. Until it is live, everything it does works on the web at studio.deckshift.app.

Can I edit slides on my phone?

No, and that is on purpose. The phone starts shifts, answers questions, and sends finished decks. Editing, reordering and export stay in the web workspace, and the app sends the deck to your laptop when it needs work.

How do I know when the deck is ready?

A notification, when the deck is ready and when a question has been waiting for you. If you decline notifications, the app shows progress while it is open. A shift that stops moving for fifteen minutes says so instead of spinning forever.

Does it work offline?

No. Every shift runs on our servers, so the app needs a connection and shows a banner when it has none. It never pretends a deck is running when it is not.

Is it the same account as the web?

Yes. Your decks, your library and your plan are the same on the phone and on studio.deckshift.app. A shift started on one shows up on the other.
